My computer just started to get grey lines on my monitor. It happened while I was playing delver. We turned the computer off and after awhile he turned it back on and now it won't load off of the start screen, it still has these grey lines.

Sorry I'm not really that good with computers, but this is the model and stuff in this link
https://www.cnet.com/products/dell-inspiron-580-core-i3-550-3-2-ghz-monitor-none-series/specs/

Vga cable, but it is connected completely. And I have only used vga cables for the comp. BTW the monitor hasn't been switched with another monitor. It's been the same monitor since I've gotten the computer.

The comp would before, when turning on, go into the Dell loading screen, then into the windows 10 loading screen, and then finally into the account selection. But now instead of going into the account selection, it will go to a black screen and repeat, eventually go into a blue screen asking to restart the comp or do options. I chose restart and right now it's in the Dell loading screen.

try another vga monitor to see if still has those gray lines or not. as it appears you do not have a videcard but using onboard video, you could have bad ram or bad onboard video if the lines are still there when using another monitor. how old is the computer?

The computer is around 5 years old. Also, it had the same problem when I tried with the hdmi cords. And when I replaced the monitor with another one, it had the same problem.
