Gray screen stripes

Hello,

Recently i had a error. This error contained my screen going gray in the middle of gaming, showing stripes. Everything would go on for a second or 2 the sounds and stuff. Then i'd have to turn it off.

Issue is.. It wont turn back on, this happened once before, so i removed the CMOS and vidcard. Then after 10 mins it turned on.
However THIS time, it wont turn back on. It happened last night and it still shows no screen. My mouse and keyboard won't show power either.

My specs are in my tag.

Swap the 970 for the R9 270x and see if the problem is fixed.

Haha, Sorry, that really confused me.

I suspect the gpu. Can you try a friends graphic card in your system? Or can you try your graphic card in another system?

Uhm, i'm going to check and see tomorrow, are you sure the GPU because my mouse n keyboard aren't showing any signs of working. also the internet cable plugged in does NOT show any light or whatever.

Just reread your post. You are correct seems more like it would be a mobo or psu issue.
