Hey, I recently bought a new dvi-d cable from amazon that is long enough for connecting my monitor, and it is a 144 hz 1080p cable and my monitor now does gray static after some time... I can just close my monitor and open it and it works, but can it damage my monitor? I have been using the original dvi-d cable that was provided when I bought my screen since the beggining and I never got that problem, I wanted a longer dvi-d cable. I just switched to this cable and it started happening... I don't really know what to do... Here's the cable.

Is there a solution to this or something I'm missing or is it just a bad quality cable ?
And it does that to only the main monitor that has this cable, I don't think it's the pc...
(I have the vg248qe) from Asus) https://www.amazon.ca/-/fr/gp/product/B00B2HH7G0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
