Hello, today I tried to download the gigabyte app center tool for my motherboard but upon installing then opening the app center my PC had a BSOD. It said a file called grdv.sys caused the crash. Now I can't get into the PC after login screen without a crash. I thought of unistalling the app center in safe mode but I forgot you can't unistall apps in safe mode. I had a similar error like this happen before when I stupidly set the multiplier too high on overclocking a cpu (I was a little new to overclocking then) the same crash occurred but was fixed by reinstalling windows. Is there anyway to solve this error I have now without reinstalling windows? Help is appreciated.

Solution

I appreciate the help, but I actually found a fix. I just went into safe mode and deleted the app center files, and then booted normally and uninstalled the app center and now my PC boots fine.
Gigabyte Easy Saver - mobo power utility driver

see if you can update the bios or maybe go into bios and see if you can turn off all of the power functions to see if you can boot.

you might also go to the gigabyte site and see if they have a solution and update drivers.
