Questions:

Will my power supply be enough? I know it wont if I want to Sli but I just like that option for much later upgrades

I read bad things about the ocz power supply I was looking at, the ripple gets bad.....whats a good alternative for nearly the same price?

Will either of my heatsinks and fans fit with the motherboard?

Is the Zalman 9700 a better fan option?

I heard bad things about nvidia boards, whats a good alternative? If I change boards should I change the ram too?

Lastly, the big debate.....Quad Core or Duo? Im going to be mainly gaming on the machine, I figured quad core because of good overclock and future multithread games. This article really helped : http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cpu/display/core2quad-q6600.html

ANY Feedback is GREATLY appreciated, this is just what Ive researched and found.

Splendid
Minimum for that pc would be 450 Watt & 24 Amps. Minimum for that SLI would be 550 Watt 30 Amp. The OCZ may not be enough for the new GT2X0 SLI. We'll know when they're rolled out. It depends on what SLI config you're going after.

Other good brands:

If you don't o/c, the Zalman is whisper quiet. If you do, pick up XIGMATEK HDT-S1283.

Nothing bad about 780i. Bad about 790i - sata data corruption.

Get a better PSU like Corsair, Tagan, Enermax, Antec, or Silverstone.
Get a better memory like Corsair or Crucial. Forget OCZ.
I have never used any XFX mobos, so I'm not gonna say anything about it. You'll be OK with either nVidia or Intel chipsets. It just about your choice, SLI or Crossfire.
Corsair 750W is enough if you are going for 2 GPU and 450W or 550W is enough for just 1 GPU.
Get Samsung SH S203B instead of ASUS, ASUS sucks when it's about drives.
Zalman CNPS9700 is very good and it will most likely fit your mobo.
Quad has longer lifetime than dual, and if you can still afford get a Q9300 but if not than a Q6600 is enough.
Wait a couple more weeks to get the newest GPUs! or get 8800GTS (SLI) or 3850 (Crossfire)
$130-case from Apevia? Get Antec 900 or go below $100 for a Coolermaster cm690! but this is just a matter of taste.
Seagate 500GB 32MB 7200.11 is better.

I'd waite till the new vid cards launch in a couple of weeks before buying a highend card. an extra week of gaming glory may lead to years of regret. your getting close to the expected price of a 4870, that is suposed to wipe the floor with a GTX
