This seems to be a great laptop. It says it has 1920 x 1080p, but when I looked at a beefed up version of this on ebay, it was only 1650 x 1200. Is this truly 1920 x 1080? I have this one right now

Its resolution is only 1280 x 800. But for games, would 1650 x 1200 really be much better? It's 20", so I really want it.

Now the main question: WHERE DO I GET IT? cnet.com reviewed it, but it wasn't the same one because it had only Core Duo(not 2). Where can I find this laptop? I really need to know how much it costs. If it's like $2000, I'm going for it(especially if I got this one here for $1100, I have like 2 more weeks to return it).

I've looked all around the net, I can't find it anywhere. How much do you guys think this will cost? It looks really good with that screen. Oh, and I figured out the review on cnet was just an 9800, not the 9920. This 9920 looks great, and there's a 7720 coming soon, but I don't want to wait TOO LONG. So how much do you guys think it will cost, and an idea of when it's coming out?

Alright - let me add some clarity on this issue...

1. The max resolution of the display that comes with the 9920 is 1680 x 1050. This is 30 pixels short of 1080p full HD complience... but this shortfall is hardly noticable, since its interpolated.

2. The nvidia geForce 8600GT that is included with the 9920 can display resolutions as high as 1920 x 1080 (full HD) but this will require an external TV that supports.

3. The laptop is available from Acer dealers in your country.

4. Acer need to jack up a little on their service. I have had major problems ordering my 9920... and 15 days later... I am still waiting... after being promised it would only take 3 days...

Acer doesn't sell directly to end customers, so looks like a sloppy retailer you are dealing with (except for certain spare part issues in some cases).
