Recently bought a much better, pre built PC than i've ever had before (A Corsair ONE)
(GTX1080 , I7700k @ 4.6ghz)
and yet CSGO and other games are getting FPS drops, stuttering, and other issues unexplainably. I can have 600 fps but get stuttering. I'm very confused and not super tech savvy, but have been unable to find answers or help for my problems via searching on google.

What is your CPU temps while gaming?

Update your BIOS and make sure your M.2 and SSD are connected properly. Change SATA ports too.
Google if you don't know how.

Also, which RAM slots are you using?

35-38c Idle, 60-80c max while gaming. I dont play super labor intensive games, and i keep my fan on a med-high setting along with the Corsair ONE's built in liquid cooling system.

It says 2 of 4 of my RAM slots are being used.

I will do the BIOS update and google that second thing right now.

the more and more I see these stuttering cases, even after clean install, and I am thinking all the Specter and Meltdown mitigation are screwing gamers bigtime.

if you are using 3rd party anti-malware and anti-virus, disable them, or uninstall them as a test and reboot.

download Latency Monitor and let it show you which drivers are most latent (that causes lots of stuttering)

It says my BIOS is up to date when trying to update it.

When i used CMD to find the Ram slots being used it said 0 and 2.

I just got back from class so im going to be doing the M.2 / SSD thing right now.

I just googled what you told me to and i dont think im able to do any of that. The pc i have is prebuilt and doing anything more than removing the top of it ( https://imgur.com/a/RrSqYnG ) Is a void of the warranty, and im not even sure I could do it if i managed to get it opened without breaking something.

Only using windows defender AFAIK: https://gyazo.com/c0c0d44cbc2a13dd801981dbf141497d

LatencyMon @ 10m (not sure how long to keep it running?) https://gyazo.com/851bcb4f689538bd2471a83bfe64fb29

Just checked in my BIOS and Sata port 2-5 are not doing anything, with only Sata port 1 being "active"
