Hello everyone!

I've been experiencing a weird issue with my monitor/gpu recently, where whenever something is moving on the screen it will have a green and red texture overlaying it, in parts. This happens on Youtube, in games, and even in on the taskbar if I scroll over the icons.

I have a few pictures of a Youtube video to show what I mean. I can't screenshot the issue, as it won't show up, which hopefully means it's not a gpu issue. See the links below for the images.

I've tried using different hdmi cables, and I've tried using the monitor on a different computer. The issue fixed itself when I plugged the monitor back into my computer after testing it on another. There was no graphical issues on the other computer. I'm writing this a few days after the issue first appeared, and it was fine up until today.

The gpu I'm currently using is the ASUS GeForce DUAL GTX1060 6 GB graphics card. It's practically brand new, less than a month old.
The monitor I'm using is the BenQ GW2270H 21.5 inch Flicker Free LED Monitor.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what it is or how to fix it?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this.

I tried that, didn't make a difference. Tried using a DVI cable and it seems to work fine. The DVI cable is however attached to the motherboard. Does this mean it is a cable issue?

Edit: I've plugged the HDMI back in and it's fine again. I'm certain it's not a loose cable.

Hello, sorry I forgot I posted this as the problem went away. It's back again. I have the BenQ GW2270H 21.5 inch, and I bought it second hand at the end of November, it was meant to be in very good condition.

Did you find a solution when you had the problem?

Hey event,

I never figured out the issue, how ever the good news is, it fixed itself over time. I'm no longer using it as my main monitor, but it's plugged into the same port on my GPU. I feel like it could have something to do with the cold, my room was very cold during the winter, and it's been getting warmer. Hopefully your problem goes away with time like mine did.

All the best.
