Green background display on my LCD monitor

my Dell LCD monitor gives a green background display when I connect to the VGA port of my graphics card. the . Although everything works, the icons and everything display, the green background is irritating.But this works fine when I connect my led TV to the graphics via HDMI without green background display...My graphics card is gtx 650
