Question green dots all over the screen

I have RTX 2070, bought it last year, didn't have problems until now. it crashed while i was playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and when it came back up it had green dots all over the screen. This happens when the display is set to any resolution higher than 1024x768 and on multiple monitors. I would appreciate any help.

Start with reinstalling the drivers and maybe trying a different HDMI/DP port on the card.

If that doesnt help then it could very well be a dying GPU.

dots on the screen are often symptomatic of failing VRAM...(you can try lowering VRAM or GPU clocks to see if that helps)

How do I do that?

I tried redownloading the Nvidia game ready driver and restoring the system to an earlier restore point and it did not help. Is there no hope for my GPU?

I would RMA if possible. I know it sucks to have to do that... But you probably will need to.
