The dots only apear after playing a game or the pc has been on for a while.

I have had this problem before with my old GT 430 but it just disapeared.
When im in game i dont see the dots at all.
Sometimes the pc freezes and i have to turn it off.

Typically green dots or artefacts are due to an overheating vga card.
Try the drivers certainly but if that does not clear it up then start looking at the temperature your card should be running at and what it actually is running at.
Also clean the fans/heatsink on it regularly to keep it dust free and help it to run cooler.

The card doesnt go above the 40 degrees.

EDIT: Looked into my case and saw that a small wire is resting on the back of the GPU. Could that be the problem?
