Green Hair, HP driver bug?

A friend of mine with a HP810 printer has this same problem over and over again. She uses photoshop and dark brown hair is printed as green.
I understand that a clog in one of the ink cartridge can do things like that, but it is as if when the color is out of gamut the HP Ddriver does something really strange.

Thats a wierd one, and it seems as no one is willing to have a go at it, the only thing I would wonder is, is she printing in CMYK or RGB format?

That happened to me once using Photoshop. The ink cartridge needed a good cleaning. Or you could be out of black ink.
Try making the printer clean itself (lol, that sounds funny) and if that doesn't work, replace the cartriges.

Might be a few things...
You could be out of one color of ink, making brown come out wrong.
More likely, you have color management set up wrong, either in the adobe control panel (for your monitor), in photoshop's color settings (edit, color settings), or maybe in your printer's settings.
Poke around with them, see if you can get things back to defaults without trying to calibrate things just right, I've seen so many things come out wrong when people start fooling around with color management settings, usually leaving alone works.
If they're already at defaults, try setting them up to match your hardware.
