[SOLVED] Green line on my screen

Solution
Its most likely a broken monitor unfortunately. Only way to say 100% with no doubt is plug in another monitor to your system and test, or plug the broken monitor into another computer and test.

But yes, one green line usually means broken monitor. Occasionally its the graphics card that causes the problem, but those usually manifest as lots of green lines, and the lines change location.
Most likely what Apple said, but check your connection from the PC to the monitor. Sometimes a lose cable on either end, or a bent pin, or just a bad cable can cause the issue. Is it only one single line?

Solution
You and try and replace the panel inside the monitor, but in most cases its not cost effective. Meaning its almost the same price as buying a new monitor. Plus all the time you spend doing research. If you think about your time = money. Of course, I realize most people are locked in the house right now.
