I recently built my new computer just a few days ago, and have noticed that after about 15-20 minutes of either running a benchmark or playing a game (like Rainbow Six) my screen will cut to a blank green screen and only my keyboard and mouse will shut off. Every other component in the computer stays on and running. The first things I did when I installed my OS (Windows 10) was download both the motherboard and graphics card drivers. At first I thought it could be my CPU overheating, so I uninstalled my stock AMD Wraith Prism, making sure to clean the old thermal paste off properly, and doing a fresh install of the cooler master hyper 212 evo. This however had no effect and the crashes still continue. It only happens when I am either in game or doing a benchmark, so is it possible that the problem lies with my GPU? My next guess would be that I incorrectly installed drivers or something. CPU temperatures are averaging 50C which is definitely higher than it should be.
