Green screen laptop

I recently got a new charger for my laptop (long story shirt...my dog destroyed the old one and I haven't been able to purchase one until now)

I haven't used the laptop in about 8 months and when I turned it on, the black pixels were green. :/
It is an iBook G4 and its about three to four years old.

p.s. it also won't connect to the internet...but the main problem is the green screen first! lol

Ack... I'm assuming your old laptop's screen or graphics card has given up, based on the comments here: http://www.computing.net/answers/gaming/green-pixels/4162.html

Also, are you sure you got the correct charger for your laptop?

:O Yes, I got the correct charger because the newer models have a square charger instead of a round one. But would you happen to know how much that costs to get fixed?
