Green tint

Hey, my 30 in samsung LCD Monitor just started to get this green tint all around the screen. It would power up normal then after like 5 mins the green tint appears. I am very sad since I loved the monitor. Is there anyway to fix this or is the monitor going to have to be junked?

How old is it? If it is an older monitor, chances are that it is probably on it's way out. Tinting like that is usually a sign that the liquid crystals can no longer generate color properly.

it is awesome how all this new technology dies out after a year or 2 and i have 2 shitty 19 inch lcd that have been working for 5+ years
