Green tinted display

Hi,
I have an LG LED IPS display, which I bought last year. I've had no problems with it, until a couple of days ago, a weird blue/green tint appeared on about 1/3rd of the monitor, from the left side.

The green tint also makes text and images slightly more grainy, and colours seem washed out.
Here is the full screen, if you scroll left to right you can see clearly the green colour change.

And here is a 'close up' of the green side. You can see the green pixels

So far, I've reinserted the HDMI cable, cleaned my graphics card (AMD 7870), neither worked. Anyone have an idea of how to fix this?

Forgot to add one thing, yesterday it reverted back to normal for about 10 minutes, then went to green again. I don't think I bumped it or anything to cause this.

I see this thread is marked as solved, did you actually solve it or did you RMA it. I did everything in the "Best solution" and its definitely the display, so I'm stuck now. Did you find a fix?
