Question Green-White patch on 2nd screen

PLEASE HELP!!!WHICH COMPONENT IS AT FAULT HERE???
Please help me in this matter I don't exactly know where the problem is or how to google it.
I have the ASUS R510J laptop with i7 processor and gtx 950m gpu witg 3 gb vram.
Since the past few months I was getting white horizontal lines on screen which slowly covered the entire display. Then suddenly one day, half of the screen got blacked out with the remaining half still having those lines. So I bought another monitor which was the HP 22YH screen to check if it was display problem or gpu problem and the screen was connected via hdmi. This 2nd monitor was initially fine but showed the same problem in 3 days. What exactly is faulty here??

This might be the GPU since it handles all that stuff. First I thought it might be the monitor but since you bought a second one it can't be the dying pixels.

First of all Thank you for your quick reply....
so I guess buying a new laptop is the only option then???
also is my new monitor permanently damaged? because now even when I'm only connecting it to a power source and not to the laptop, it still brings those lines...
