Grey "bleeding" pixels problem

I have some "dead" pixels (bunched together in two different spots) on my monitor, although they don't really appear to be dead per say. On a white background, under a magnifying glass, they look like they're bleeding, only half or so of the pixels are grey and the rest are white.

This monitor is only a few months old. Can someone tell me what's wrong?

It could be a stuck sub pixel, but then it would look cyan, yellow, or magenta, not gray.

If it's a TN panel a stuck pixel will be bright, on an MVA or IPS a stuck pixel will be dark.

Make sure the monitor is clean. It could be a speck of dust on the inside (I had this happen once), try tapping the monitor gently, or spraying some compressed air inside, but don't over do it.

It's definitely not dirt on the screen itself, but I guess it could be on the inside. The room it's in is very dusty, no matter how clean I try to keep it. Thanks for the tip.
