Question Grey Dog elicense games no longer launch ?

I am hoping someone here plays Grey Dog games using elicense and might know how to resolve the current issue I am experiencing.

I have TEW2020 and WMMA5 set to run as administrator.
I am using Bitdefender and have added exceptions for both exe's and elicense exe (runservice.exe)

Here is the error report I get:

It looks like the mmfs.dll is the problem, does anyone know how to fix that?

Perhaps a buggy or corrupted file.

Look in Reliability History/Monitor for other related error codes, warnings, or informational events.

Try running the built in Windows troubleshooters. The troubleshooters may find and fix something.

Try "dism" and "sfc /scannow":
