Last friday there was a power outage in my street while i was using my computer, so i unplugged everything from my pc. on monday the power came back on and my pc seemed to work fine, but a day after there was another unexpected power outage, again, i unplugged everything and it came back the next day, but this time when i turned on my computer, after the windows logo the screen stays grey without changing. i blindly typed my password in and my desktop appeared, but pretty much empty, the cursor wasnt there
and my keyboard stopped working after a few minutes

I would really appreciate some help here

Before the operating system loads are you able to get into the BIOS? I don't know your particular motherboard, but typically it is something like spamming F2 or DEL keys early in boot to get to the BIOS menu. The hard disk may have been corrupted, but if you can't get into the BIOS then hard disk won't matter...if the button battery on the motherboard is low then the BIOS settings may have been a bit scrambled during time unplugged and the BIOS would need reset...if that works probably you would want to replace that battery as well.
