[SOLVED] Grinding/rattling noise coming from GPU. How do I figure out whether it's the fan or shroud?

If I pinch the shroud near the exhaust, it kinda dampens the noise but doesn't get rid of it entirely. How can I be sure whether it's the fan making the noise or something rattling on the shroud itself? Any ideas?

Sounds to me like the fan hitting the shroud, but is it one you can remove the shroud without removing the fan? Take it out and check for clearance between the two.
