Grizzly Bear thermal paste, which one to use?

Okay so I have this formula X motherboard, and a kraken 62x AiO, I'm planning on doing some stressing OC on the build so I heard grizzly bear does the trick, now I heard grizzly has 3 types, kryo, hydro, and aero

Which one fits me best?

PS: is the kryo good in my case or is it only for LN2 cooling? ... And does it work as fine if I choose not to overclock for long periods of time?

Grizzly bear? Think you mean Thermal Grizzly.

Kryronaut is thier best non conductive thermal grease.

Conductonaut is their best conductive thermal thermal grease. You have to be more careful with conductive greases if they get in the wrong place they will cause shorts and damage components.

It will work just fine of you are overclocking or not. I'm currently using Kryonaut with my Cryorig R1 and 8700k.

Conductonaut is galium based liqid metal compound and more ideal for delidding. You need to be very careful with it.

Kryonaut is also fairly runny. If you are using it on something like direct contact heat pipes, I would want a more paste-like compound to fill in the large grooves (if applicable, some DC designs are very smooth). They do list their viscosity so you can pick out a thicker one if needed.

I used Kryonaut in a de-lid, certainly better than Intel's application of thermal compound.

Cost/Benefit, well, Thermal Grizzly products are on the high end of price. You can get something 95% as good for about half the money from companies like Arctic, Gelid, Thermaltake, Noctua, etc.

Older stuff, but my preference has this far always been Arctic silver 5. I know there are better products out there now, but it's usually relatively cheap, and seems to do a decent job for the money, especially after it cures a little.

Thanks guys you're made in heaven, I was wondering about the paste that came in with the kraken's sink, is it good or should I go with kryo while I'm at it? ... I have to wait a week before I get the grizzly delivered since it appears to be in high demand and I can't find it in shops, AND ITS SO HARD TRYING TO RESIST USING MY RIG UNTIL I GET IT *_*

The only problem with using the stock stuff is that you'll end up having to clean it off both the HS and the CPU to replace it with thermal grizzly later. It'll be fine to use though.

A tip when you go to remove the old stuff. Start up the PC, let it run about 5 minutes or so, then shut it down. That should heat up the paste already on the CPU a little which may let the CPU cooler come off a little easier.

More than likely won't be an issue. But I do remember a couple of times with thermal paste, it being really baked on, and you go to pull the cooler off, and the CPU comes up with the cooler. That can be a little scary.

Does not usually happen, but I've had it happen a couple of times. Messed up pins on a cpu once like that. When the cooler is loose, pull straight up
