So i have a pump that uses two pin molex connector. The Black Ground pin always seem to become unseated from the encasing resulting in my pump to shut off. I pulled the pin out of the casing to inspect it and realized that the two pins that hold the wire tot he encasing are no longer there.Without these pins should i replace the unit, just the ground pin or can i use electrical tape to hold the wire in place?

Solution
well i cant really judge if it safe, but i would check every hour or 2...
what tools? i guess a little leatherman or little pliers...
Well at what cost. Right now i have it rigged, not sure how safe it is but i wrapped the pin with electrical tape to a thickness that was enough to have it fit tightly within the encasing. With the vibration of the machine i think it will slowly slip out though. To replace the pin itself, is there a hardware shop locally i could buy the replacement pins, or is this something i would need to order online?

Thanks!
