Ground motherboard in a non-metal case

does a mobo need to be grounded in an acrylic, wood, or any other non conductive material case? i could have sworn i saw a ground wire going from a motherboard standoff to the power supply once on an acrylic case

Hi

We have Acrylic cases in the windows of my shops...running...

You don't need an earth as it earths from the mobo to the psu to the plug...
