Grounding a power supply

I have a PC fan that I want to run to cool my DIY projector, but I just want the fan and the PS. I have an ATX PS, and that needs to be grounded before it will work. How would I ground that without hooking it up to a motherboard?

Grounded? Do you mean you want to turn it on? If you want to turn it on simply connect pins 13 and 14 on the motherboard connector (i use a paper clip to do this).
