Grounding myself with objects around the house?

Hey guys i am going to be upgrading my graphics card today but i want to make sure i don't shock any of my components with static electricity, I have an anti static wristband but I am not sure what exactly you can attach it to. I do know that you can attach it to your case but I would rather use something around my house. So that being said what are some house objects that I can attach it to? Can I just clip it on to any piece of metal?

You don't need to, but for the sake of safety, you can attach it to a radiator.

if you keep your arm or another part of your body in contact with the case, while you install it, you wont even need that arm band. No need to over complicate basic fundamentals.

Just don't install it on the rug while moving the case in circles.
