Hey guys,

I have 2 DC and a small windows 2000 domain. Everything seems to be working
fine in my domain except group policies.
For some reason my SUS server wasnt working the way I expected it to and
thats why I disabled it and changed the group policies to "not configured" ,
but inspite of doing that the group policy tab on all the clients in greyed
out and has stayed that way for a while. I tried doing the basic trouble
shooting with NTTest and GPOEdit etc but I see nothing weird.

Also I know that the WINS server in my envirement is screwed up , but I dont
know hwo much effect that would have on group policy.

Basically for some reason group policy is not working on my network.

do you have a gpresult from the machine?
Here is a link to the tool:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/reskit/tools/existing/gpresult-o.asp

use the /v switch and then post it up here if it doesn't help you get any
further along.
