Hi guys

ive just bought 2x2gb gskill 16000 ripjaws and also some thermalright HR-07 high rise memory coolers.

Does anyone know if the heatsinks on the memory modules can be removed safely to attach the new heatsinks?

Also i bought these modules dirt cheap for like £95 which is amazing concidering they are 2000mhz and rated in the top 2 next to the dominators, i highly rate, well i will when i get them lol.

I wouldn't do it. The ripjaws heatsinks are good; removing them could damage the memory; not worth the hassle. For ram cooling, add a cooling fan in one of the empty pci slots or overhead. Sell the other ones or use on another system.

yer sounds like a plan, its a shame though as the ram coolers look good next to a thermalright 120 ultra rev c, nevermind, cheers mate
