Gskill Ripjaws X 2133mhz unable to get rated XMP speeds.

The RAM timings are 9-11-11 ... that means they are not rated to run at faster settings (9-10-9) you have chosen. Higher numbers are slower, lower numbers are faster. Go back to rated settings and check:

1. So you took old RAM out and put this in or is old stuff still there ?

2. Have you used the BIOS selection to move all BIOS settings to default ?

3. Reset CMOS if Item 2 failed.

4. Have correct voltage as per package ? Tries increasing DRAM voltage ?

5. Tried both XMP settings

Yeap these timings are 9-11-11 for 2133mhz. You can tight them for 1866,1600,1333 speeds.

I did remove old ram kit and cleared CMOS.

Tried increasing voltage to 1.65v and got the same result.

PC restarts with both XMP settings.

I'll try to post pictures as soon as i get home from work.

There's a weird thing behind this because pc will boot at 1333mhz 1600mhz 1866mhz 2000mhz 2200mhz and 2400mhz. It just keeps rebooting when selecting 2133mhz.

PC boots at 1866, 2000, 2200 and 2400 speeds.

Will keep rebooting when i select 2133mhz, it doesnt matter timing settings.
