Question Gskill trident z rgb on strix h270f gaming

So I bought the gskill trident z rgb 2400 to replace the ripjaws 2133 and it's not working it will not post, if i switch back to the ripjaws it works just fine, aren't they supposed to work on this MB? Could it be because I bought the for AMD version? Although from what I read it should not be a problem being the for AMD version? Please help

Asus strix h270f gaming
Asus gforce 1060 6gb
Ssd m.2 2280 Samsung 860 evo
Gskill Ripjaws 2133 can't remember model

As for the new memory it's the gskill f4-2400 c15d-16gtzrx ddr4 2400 8gbx2 referred to as For AMD, but from what I read they're supposed to work fine on Intel.

Even tho I'm limited by a 6th Gen Cpu it should still work at 2133 or am I wrong?
