Does anyone know when Cingular will be offering GSM phones in
Tallahassee, Florida?

There is T-Mobile service here, and AT&T Wireless has just opened
several stores here, so there is GSM service available in Tallahassee.

I can't answer your first question, but Cingular
is offering two GAIT phones (GSM/TDMA/AMPS) (both
free with two year contract) along with three
TDMA/AMPS on their web site. I'd say very soon
(less than a year).

AT&T Wireless relabeled the US Cellular Corp. (USCC)
stores that they purchased a year ago. ATTWS doesn't
have any 1900 MHz licenses, on which they would have
already built mMode (GSM). USCC had a cellular-A
(800 MHz) license.

Your present, existing GSM service provider is T-Mobile.
Existing Cingular GSM roamers operate on T-M.
