[SOLVED] Gsync not working in borderless windowed mode?

I have a Predator MNT XB271HU monitor and a EVGA Nvidia 2060 GPU. I also have a second monitor for non gaming things. In the Nvidia control panel I have it set to enable gsync for windowed and full screen modes, but it is currently only working in full screen. I enabled the monitors refresh rate number and launched a game (in this case League of Legends) and in full screen the refresh rate will move to 144 and I have my fps capped at 120 and it works in full screen mode. BUT when I go windowed mode my refresh rate will go back down to 60 and so will my fps.

What is going on here and how do i fix it? Thank you

You may need to restart the system after changing that setting.
