Hi guys, got a question about Gsync.

Just got an Acer Predator X34, and have it OC'd to 100Hz.

Trying to work out why Gsync isn't working, I've enabled it via Nvidia Control Panel, and I have the indicator saying "Gsync is Enabled" when I play a game.

However, I still get screen tearing when I am in full screen mode.

If I put the game in windowed mode or windowed borderless, it works as I would have expected, no screen tearing, feels very smooth.

I read that if your fps goes over the Hz of the monitor, Gsync will be deactivated, so I have limited my framerates via Afterburner/Rivatuner to 99fps.

Have I got Gsync set up wrong?

Why isn't it working in full screen?

My PC is an i7 6700k + GTX 1080 sli (only using one at the moment).

Thanks!

Sorry for the very late reply. I got it working. Turns out that I had to enable vsync in the nvidia control panel (obviously keeping it off in game). Apparently it's designed to work with gsync. Initially I thought I had to keep it off :)

Monitor runs flawlessly at 100Hz, pretty happy with that as I've read a lot about people not being able to hit 100Hz at all (and if they did they'd have issues).
