Question Gsync stutter

Hello guys i just want to ask simple question. I own a aoc g2590 gsync compatible screen and its causing me a lot of microstutter in competetive games where im running on 250fps(only fix is turning on vsync wich bothers me because of input lag). So my question is if its okay to manualy set in wich game i want to gsync be turned on.(in nvcp 3d settings) i turned off gsync and set gsync to be turned on in AAA games where im getting 90fps. Is it safe for monitor that gsync is turning on and off?
