Gt 1030 240w power supply

So I have a core i5 16gb ram and 240w power supply I just bought a gt 1030 2gb gddr5 is that able to run with my power supply I'm worried I waisted 99$

Well...NVidia recommends 300 watts minimum....so I think there's a pretty good chance it won't work.

Well I've seen that alot of people run it with 240w

It most likely will work as long as there are no other incompatibility issues.

That card only uses around 30W, so even if you have a 95W CPU, you're still not really pushing a 240W PSU. UNLESS you have a really, really cheap PSU. How cheap? Does it say "12A" for the 12V output on the label on the side of the PSU?
