Dear Helpers,
I want to know is NVIDIA graphics card GT 1030 is compatible with mini ATX motherboard
manufacturer HP,
Motherboard name- IPM87-MP and
my Processor is i5-4460
with two 4gb ddr3 1600mhz.
It has PCI-E x16.
And will this cause problem after installation (Secure Boot State Unsupported) as my secure boot is unsupported.
And also will I face Bottle necking.
Thanks in advance!

Solution
Thanks! Yes I know about this but as I am facing a little budget constraint. My country offers GT 1030 in $87 and GTX 1050 in $157 and plus my PSU is 250w. So for now just to give my PC a slight better performance upgrading it from Intel HD 4600 gives my PC a better life for usage.

And can you say something about Secure Boot State Unsupported and CPU bottleneck in i5-4600.
If $157 is within your budget, look for a GTX 1650 instead of the GTX 1050 or 1050 TI, because it's often about the same price or slightly more, is around 25% faster than the 1050 TI and uses the same amount of power as the 1050 TI.

What is the model of your HP system? Your PSU may not have a 6 pin PCIE power cable for a GPU, so you might need to find a GPU...

Yes it will work but the GT1030 is a very weak card. Is the computer a slim case model? If so you can find slim/low profile GTX1050 and GTX1050tis which are both more powerful then the GT1030.

Thats true but the used market for 1050s and 1050tis is often around 50-90 USD for one. I also dont think the 1650 is offerend in a slim model which if he has a Slim profile PC which judging by the 230 watt PSU he does the case panel wont fit back on with a 1650.

By slim do you mean low profile or do you mean single slot design? The the low profile 1650 is the fastest low profile gaming card on the market right now (when in stock), but as far as I know, there are no single slot versions. I don't even think there are single slot 1050 like the GT 1030.

In either case, the GT 1030 GDDR5 2GB versions would be only real fall back option for a slim case and space for only a single slot card.

Mine is HP pavilion 550-010il. I dont have 6 pin PCIE power cable for GPU and its not the slim model CPU. And please tell me about secure boot unsupported problem after installing the new graphics card. And lastly will this gt 1030 cause CPU bottlenecking on my processor i5-4460.

I don't think you will have an issue with secure boot. There is no way to know if you will have an issue until you get the actual GPU installed, but it will probably be fine.

As for CPU "bottlenecking", the GT 1030 will still be under powered for your system. Considering the specs of your system, you shouldn't buy any GPU faster than a GTX 1650 that doesn't require 6 pin PCIE power, because then you will need to upgrade the PSU to support a faster GPU. If your system has a 300watt PSU as stated in the specs, you should be fine with a GTX 1050/TI or GTX 1650 that doesn't require 6 pin PCIE. If you have trouble finding a card, all the low profile versions of the GTX 1050/TI and 1650 do not require 6 pin PCIE.

If you are set on getting the GT 1030, make sure you get the 2GB GDDR5 version and not the DDR4 version, because the DDR4 version has about half the performance of the GDDR5 version.

Thanks Brother for your great help!! I just want to give a slight upgrade to this PC. In future i will be considering your tips for upgrades. Anyways waiting for RTX 20 series prices to fall. This is just for my 6 year old pc giving a slight performance boost. Yes i did go for GDDR5 version.
