gt 1030 problem with acer pc new

hello guys i got used pc with i3 3240 / 8 gb and then i add my gt 1030 it s new and when testing it with my friend s monitor HDMI it works good but when testing it with my monitor VGa and putting adapter dvi-vga not working !! and then i test it with hdmi in my tv else it s not working
so i need to ask you please guys ! when putting new card i should format the windows and reinstall or drivers ? so should i put the vga cable into my mobo then reinstall everything ??
please i need solution i don t know the problem !!!

yes new adapteur and tested with other pc 🙁

aa so not all adapters can work ?? 😱 hhh i got 2 :3
but what about putting it in tv and don t work with hdmi cable ?

i should format the windows or it s not necessary when buying new gpu ? cause i just unstall to last driver for my bad old gpu gt 610 and i put the gt 1030 and install to new driver or it s better to format windows ?
