Question GT 1030 Problem

I just put my GT 1030 in my PC, it boots up completely fine. But I dont think my pc knows that I have it in? Suddenly my display resolutions go down alot, and my pc feels like its slower. All while my gt 1030 is in my pc and running. Im typing this while its in my pc. Help?

what do you mean display resolution go down alot? did you remove the old gpu driver and install the gt 1030 gpu driver?

Sounds like you haven't installed the graphics card drivers yet.

Have you connected your display to the graphics card output and not the motherboard output?
