Dear friends,

Kindly inform whether GT 1030 2 GB graphic card will perform better than Zotac 1 GB GTS 450 (810 mhz) in gaming titles like DOOM, Battlefield 1, mass effect Andromeda etc. when paired with Ryzen 1300 x and 8 GB DDR 4 Ram.

Gaming resolution : below 1600 x 900 with low to medium settings.

Regards,

I just bought ryzen 1300 x + 8 GB DDR 4 (2400 mhz ram) + gigabyte B 350 M gaming 3 motherboard + window 10 64 bit pro + cooler master SMPS 500 .
I am continuing with GTS 450 (1 GB) for gaming.
I am playing batman arkaham knight and sniper 4 at 1270 x 768 resolution at medium setting without any problem.
Ryzen 1300 x is great processor. New desktop has come alive by replacing my old CPU Phenom II 550. I can now play modern games. later when money permits and prices drops I will buy RX 560 (4 GB).

thanks for reply friends.

YES!

This is not accurate but it's a quick way to compare cards (it only works Nvidia vs Nvidia or AMD vs AMD).

GTS 450 specifications: 192 CUDA cores at 863 MHz. 192 x 863 = 165,696
GT 1030 specifications: 384 CUDA cores at 1468 MHz. 384 x 1468 = 563,712

563,712 / 165,696 = the GT 1030 is a 3.4 times better card.

Then consider the GT 1030 has double the memory and the 4xx series cards use a lot more power than the equivalent 10xx series card.

Honestly, with your CPU you should be trying to get a 6GB GTX 1060. Minimum.
2GB graphics cards just wont play newer games well. A GT 1030 2GB is a bottleneck waste of money.

They are all the same but I just put this one in my shopping cart for my girlfriend 5 minutes ago.

She needs a single slot, low profile video card for her small form factor case.

MSI, EVGA, Asus, Zotac, PNY are all good.

which is better among these three for gaming and durability.

ASUS PH-GT1030-O2G GeForce GT 1030 2GB Phoenix Fan OC Edition HDMI DVI Graphics Card
EVGA GeForce GT 1030 SC 2GB GDDR5 Low Profile Graphic Cards 02G-P4-6333-KR
Gigabyte GV-N1030OC-2GI Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 OC 2G Graphics Card

Which ever one looks coolest.

Do your homework, read specs and warranty info. I am not going to make that decision for you.

As I said before.
They are all the same

The cards themselves are all the same, the components may be different. For instance, the EVGA is a low profile card, the other two aren't. That might be a reason to pick one over the other.

Keep in mind that the 1030 is designed for less demanding esports games. You can run games like Battlefield 1, but yes you will have to reduce settings and/or resolution to keep the framerate up. A 1050 would be a substantial jump in performance, for someone who wants to play the games you named, I think you should consider the 1050 the MINIMUM card to consider.

edit: I'd rather have a Ryzen 1200 with the 1050 than the 1300x with the 1030
