hello people.. just wanna ask about these two cards

my friend is building casual gaming pc,he doesnt have a good budget but i think were on entry level on some low end games.. but the thing is we only have 2 options for the gpu that fits on his budget

GPU#1
-Biostar GT 440
-4GB SDDR3 128bit
GPU#2
-Inno3D GT 610
-1GB SDDR3 64bit

We both dont have an idea which is much faster because of the bit and Vram range

Thank you in advance

I had a GT 440 and it could handle Skyrim on high settings at 1280x1024.

The first number in the Graphics card is the series. 400, 600, 700.

The Second number in the card is the performance in that series.

So a 440 would outperform a 610. 4 > 1

Currently the GT 440 retails for about $30 on eBay. lol

Nvidia released the GT 740 last year that uses the new Kepler architecture. It's quite impressive at $79.99 and throw around games like GTA V, Battlefield 4, and Far Cry 4 at respectable settings.

Better get a 12GB GT 210 then? And the card is so slow it had trouble running more than 256 MB.

Lots of these slow cards are beefed up to fool innocent customers into shelling out money for memory they don't really need. Even the Titan, when it released, had 6GB of memory on it, when no game required more than 3GB and 4K didn't exist.

It makes no sense to buy a 440 with more than 1GB of memory. I have a 650 which is more than twice as fast, and it doesn't require more than 1GB in any game, not even the memory hog GTA IV.
Save your money. Buy the 1GB edition. Or opt for a different card.
