The PC specs for Civilization VI were recently announced (http://steamcommunity.com/games/289070/announcements/detail/892100538370620761).
My desktop can more than run it. My question now is can my laptop run it when I go home for winter break. My laptop CPU is an old i7, which is clocked at 2.2 GHz (2670QM), which appears to still be somewhere between the minimum and recommended.
My concern is about the GPU. I have a GT 555M 2GB. My laptop can run Skyrim with relative ease (generally 40-50 fps) at medium to high settings with the 2K textures. It jankily ran Asssassin's Creed IV with middling settings (albeit that game runs smoothly nowhere).
The minimum requirements are a Radeon 5570 or a GTS 450. How would my GT 555M 2GB compare to these cards?
