GT 610 - No Audio When I Install Drivers

I'm using my PC to watch movies on my TV via HDMI.

When using the onboard HDMI, I get sound through the TV Speakers.
When using the GT 610 with default windows drivers, I get sound through the TV Speakers.
When I download the latest NVidia drivers, I lose my audio.

I can see indication of volume in mixer on the 'Realtek Digital Output'

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get my audio working?

Okay, I started writing this post whilst trying to fix it, I finally managed to log in (after a password faff) and post minutes before fixing the problem.

I had to set my TV as the default audio device.

When using the hdmi port on the card you need to set the default audio device to the Nvidia HDMI output to get sound.

on the nvidia drivers make sure it installs the nvidia hdmi audio driver and make sure there set as the default in windows sound manager.

When using HDMI on a nvidia card it will not be the realtek digital output, but High Definition Multimedia Interface output. In your Volume -> Playback devices right click and have it show disabled and disconnected devices, See if you can find the HDMI output and set that as default.

ive been having this problem for a week or so now and all i had to was uninstall any other sound devices in the device manager . the nvidia hdmi output in the playback devices still says not plugged in
