Hey I use a GTX 980 for my main monitor, and a GT 610 for my 2 side monitors, but since installing windows 10, my GT 610 will not show up in nvidia control panel.

It shows up in device manager, but when I check properties it shows "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"

I've tried reinstalling the drivers and uninstalling the hardware in device manager and it still wont work, just goes back to the error state. anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

my other monitors are old 22" monitors with only dvi or vga, no display port, so I'm using the Gt 610 with 2 dvi to support them, its worked for a year now, until I updated to windows 10 today

I have installed the chipset drivers provided by Asus for windows 10, but now looking back at it, the windows 10 chipset driver is 4.56mb and the windows 7 chipset driver is 240mb. So I downloaded the windows 7 drivers but they are not compatible with windows 10.

When I updated to windows 10 I used a fresh install of windows 7 then used the media creation tool to upgrade to windows 10. Will I have to restart with windows 7, install the drivers and then upgrade to windows 10?

edit: these are the drivers for my motherboard https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/P8Z77V_LK/HelpDesk_Download/

go to intel download there free driver update tool and let it run.
I tried that, and it could not detect any drivers to update, and the manual seach too could only find Intel series 6 and up, and my board is a series 5.

I reformatted with windows 7 again, installed all the windows 7 drivers, and all the monitors were working, but when I upgraded to windows 10, I was in the same predicament

You could just get two DP to DVI adapters and save the headache of having two cards.
Thats what I ended up doing, got 2 on the way
