gt 630 2gb can't even run dota 2 at low res 1440x900

with all settins to low i get 100 fps but its not stable for exmaple when on fights it freezes me not sure why, help

lol..so when action on game my fps goes down when im alone it goes up its unplayable you can't put a skill effort when on lagging / teamfights

Ok. Well I doubt it's your graphics card, as I've played DOTA 2 on a Radeon 7570 (about the same power as a 630) with zero issues. What's your CPU? What resolution are you playing at? Do you have V-Sync/Anti-Aliasing on? What other stuff do you have running in the background? How much RAM do you have? Which OS are you using?

Hey mate , your specs is good enough to run on medium to high. Well , previously I had a hd 4650 I could run on high with 40fps above. In some accident my hd 4650 was dead, my friend lend me his gt9400 which weaker than hd 4650. Fortunely I could run the game on medium texture with 40fps above. Only went down when there's too much creeps like broodmother spider and etc. My processor was amd x2 7750 a lot weaker than your core i3 indeed. I game on 1440 x 900 which same to yours and I had 2 gb of ram. Try to install the latest driver and turn off vsync. Vsync is fps killer in low end gpu

7750 is even faster than 640..
the reason you crash is because you have outdated windows and gpu driver...

i did install lastest driver nothing and i have 2gb aswell

Lawl. Low and off are not the f*cking same! Anyways, disable V-Sync if it's on, and Anti-Aliasing. They're the two biggest FPS killers usually. I presume you have at least 4Gb of RAM right?

Alright , your system spec could run flawlessly , now I got no idea since I saw some youtuber can go high texture and no single issue on gt 630. Turn off your anti virus maybe ? Have a try

HDD is 1TB , and when i open dota 2 i make sure to close everything else , dont think its that

Weird. Run CCleaner through your system, and try defragging your HDD if you haven't already. A full antivirus scan would also be a good idea. Also verify the DOTA II Steam cache. What you're describing doesn't make any sense really.

Nice one , it's make me laugh for a while. 5400 rpm got no problem since I even play on my laptop which using 5400 rpm hdd. How about the ping ?
