If I use this to connect to my TV using HDMI, what quality will I get with 1G DDR. Not looking for Hi DEF TV and don't use it for computer games either.

My existing GT 730 2G DDR5 hasn’t worked outputting to the TV since re-installed Windows. Maybe there is a setting to transfer the output to the HDMI. This did/does have 2G DDR.

TIA

DEsmond.

Okay, lots of potential issues.

Windows 7 is out of support, though the latest version should be more than capable of outputting to a TV. You should not use the included driver disk, you should go to Nvidia's website and download the latest supported drivers.

Most GT730 are the same architecture as a GT710, so swapping them out should make no difference as long as you are using an HDMI output directly. Some GT 730 are newer and would have a better chance.

Your television model would help here.

Yes, you should see the TV as another display, so make sure your cable is good and the HDMI output on the GPU is actually working. If you have any other way to test.
No what I mean is when Iplug it into the TV via the HDMI, I don't get anything. I should see it as a dual monitor thing souldent I?

This is a windows 7 PC and had loads of windows updates. If it needs an update can I get this update somewhere else? The drivers should be on the DVD shouldent they?

Did you get your drivers, from Nvidia, for your existing card?
