DDR memory for graphics cards is different to DDR memory for motherboards, they are two different things with the same name. You can use DDR5 graphics cards in a DDR2 motherboard if you like - DDR5 is twice as fast as DDR3

Yesterday with Kyle for my configeration of core to duo 2gb ddr2 RAM Intel chipset PCI-E 2.0 x16 port #2 power supply 450w
with window 7 we discussed of 1050 mini also but later he told me for my processor there is no point in going beyond 710...you plz through some light

If for gaming, then consider something better - GT 730 GDDR5 or even GTX 750 TI.
GT 710 is just a waste of money, if you have integrated gpu.

CPU will bottleneck more powerful cards, but GT 730 GDDR5 and GTX 750 TI is still fine for Core2 Duo.

Your integrated GPU has (DVMT 5.0). It can use up to 2GB of system ram.

If it can use up to 2gb of system's memory then why my games like AOE 3 etc gets dumped.......also if we can go for higher card won't 1050 mini will be a better choice ?

GTX 1050 is significantly better, of course. But your weak cpu will hold it down.
If you can get it for same price as GTX750 TI, then go for GTX1050.

I changed from 32 mb to 256 mb then also AOE 3 got dumped...bluescreen....can u tell me why ?
