I have a 144hz monitor running off a gtx 1080 on my MSI gaming 7 270 motherboard. I used a gt 710 I already had to power my secondary 60hz monitor. Due to a change in parts, I had to move my gtx 1080 down a slot, and it is now pressed up against the low profile 710. So temperatures average maybe a degree or two higher, but mainly I want to remove the 710 in case I ever need a third m2 drive. (I have no hdd or ssd bays)

My question is: will I get a decrease in GPU performance on my main screen if I switch the secondary screen from my 710, removing it from the system, and plugging the secondary screen into the integrated graphics?

Solution

it shouldn't.

Thanks, but I'm concerned about affecting performance on the primary screen, not the secondary.

How do you achieve this because I could never get that to work
