What are you aiming for? If gaming what type of games and what is the rest of the system? The 710 & 1030 are not usually considered gaming gpu’s.

Just some Minecraft and Roblox, nothing too GPU intensive.

Your HD2000 has a passmark rating of 213. OK for desktop work.
GT710 is 686, a nice jump, but not at even minimum gaming capability.
Your suggestion of a GT1030 is much better at 2280; that is considered as the minimum gaming capable level.

I can't address the shader issue.
If you are having trouble now with HD2000, I think you should go with something stronger like the gt1030
The gt710 is not a very good upgrade.
