gt 730 2gb gddr3 vs gt 720 2gb gdrr5

hello

i know these 2 cards are weak but i have to choose betwen 1 of them the price is the same for both in my country 60 dollars brand new each card, at first glimpse the 730 2gb dd3 seems to be better, despite they have almost the same specs, but the fact that gt 720 is 2gb GDDR5 and not GDDR3 should make this one better than gt 730, there is not much information in the web, youtube i searched benchmarks but they always show me the gt 720 2gb ddr3 i dont know the perfomance of the gt 720 ddr5 version

but i would like your opinion wich one is better for gaming.

this is for my sister so her psu is HP default 300 watts

i thought about gtx 750 but i already had this card my self with 300 watts and it crashed a lot due to the lack of power so

so i rather go for one of these 2

300w is plenty for a GTX750. The 720 and 730 would be nearly useless for gaming.

yes i know that i already had a GTX 750 TI with 300 wats HP psu and things did no go well BUT can someone tell me the difference of these 2 and the budget is tight and i am very VERY curious about the gt 720 2gb ddr5 vs gt 730 2gb ddr 3 WICH one is better, me self i have GTX 970 but my sister only plays SIMS GAMES and TELLETALES games!!

The GT730 is a little better than the GT720. Both of them are weaker than many cpu's integrated graphics.


Also, the GTX750 and GTX750ti are not the same thing. Just because you had issues with one 750ti on one 300w psu doesn't mean that no 300w psus would run a GTX750.


Also, the GT740 exists and is usually around the same price as the 720 and 730

yes but im curious would the GT 720 2GB DDR5 BE BETTER THAN AN GT 730 2GB DDR3 BECASE THE SPECS ARE ALMOST THE SAME!
WOULD GDR5 MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE IN PERFOMANCE?

THEY HAVE THA SAME SPECS PIXEL RATE TERAFLOPS ETC... SHADERS... CORE CLOCKS, AND MEMORY CLOCKS BUT GT 730 IS 128BITS AND GT 720 64 BITS
JUST WONDERING THE DDR 5 AND DDR 3 THING

IN RESPECT OF GTX 750 OF COURSE I ALWAYS WOULD BY THE TI VERSION BECAUSE IS ONLY +10 DOLLASR THAN THE REGULAR ONE AND HAS 2GB AND THE REGULAR ONLY 1GB
